Die VUNDERKAMMER von GEORG DINKEL ist Star der
1. ART TOY FAIR Nürnbergs. Parallel zur Spielzeugmesse feiern wir die Spielfreude und Freiheit der Kunst. Herzliche Einladung an alle, die Lust haben auf tierisch Fantastisches! Die handgefertigten Skulpturen von Fotograf und Künstler GEORG DINKEL sind Unikate: gefertigt aus Polymer Clay und Draht, mit höchster Aufmerksamkeit für Details, Formen und Charakter. Die Arbeiten bewegen sich zwischen Toy Art, Popkultur und „regional gotischer“ Objektkunst. Organische Strukturen treffen auf mechanische Fragmente, Fantasiewesen auf technische Anmutungen. Die Ausstellung lädt dazu ein, Kunst nicht nur zu betrachten, sondern neu zu entdecken: als kleine Welten voller Geschichten, Persönlichkeit und handwerklicher Präzision.

Vunderkammer is a handmade, one-of-a-kind item that looks as if it were designed by Hieronymus Bosch‘s personal mechanic, with friendly advice from Gyro Gearloose himself. The sculptures look like toys from another dimension... too curious to ignore and too unconventional to be placed on a shelf.
ART TOY FAIR
Polymer clay is an oven-hardening modeling material based onPVC particles and plasticizers. At room temperature, it becomes pliable when kneaded and can be freely shaped, modeled, and textured. The material allows for both precise, fine details and organic, flowing shapes. Unlike conventional ceramics, polymer clay does not need to be fired, but hardens at approx. 120°C in the oven. After hardening in the oven, individual pieces can still be ground, polished, or reworked. This creates a dialogue between material, structure, and light—and each work remains a distinctive, one-of-a-kind piece.
